We analysed how people end up in the streets and how they try to get out of this situation.

Those months we had to do an etwinning project which called “Restaurants for homelessness”. This project was about homeless people, and we had to done different tasks, like:
-express our opinion about those poor people, and about this I think it’s sad to know that people like me can have the same opportunities, but they don’t have them because they’re born unlucky. So I think if people stand together can do more that what they can think, for example to start thinking about other people and not only for themself.
In this project I learn that homeless people hate to stand in shelters or subsidized houses because the personels which work here, don’t treat them good, and this is very sad, because the objectif of shelters and subsidized houses is to help and not to shame them.
I think that this etwinning project is useful for helping students to now the problems of life and how people can suffer wrongly. But I think that the part where we had to make a comix and a logo, wasn’t necessarly to did, because personally I didn’t find here something important to learn making them.

I discovered the etwinning project a year ago with the school. I think this project is very interesting and can be useful according to various aspects such as the improvement of the English language in the sense that you can learn new words that you didn’t know, the use of new applications to create posters or video and the improvement of the ability to work in groups. If I have to look at the negative aspects I only find the fact that it is difficult to communicate with another school through this app.

Etwinning in my opinion is a place where you can learn the English linguage because you can write, speak or know new people. Also is a good way of communication where you can create and share many initiatives, even about the topic that is not talked every day. For example, I found the theme about the homeless really interesting and at the same time it also made me realize that we often tend to ignore who or what is around us, forgetting that there are also people in the world who need a little more help and that ignoring them is not right.
Etwinning is also useful for discovering new apps for creating photo montages or video-editing.

We have learned to use new tools to work and better understand the situation of the homeless, we have also done various activities such as setting up a restaurant or doing a puzzle with a message that represents this group. We have been able to discover things from other countries or opinions of other students on the subject. The most interesting thing was to make a comic book with interactivity and messages to raise awareness of the situation of the homeless.
