Globalisation, in my opinion, on a global scale is a good thing. Particularly, for developing nations where it can lead to; greater productivity in a decrease in the rate of unemployment, trade encouraging more efficient resource allocation, and as such, greater national income, improvements in sectors such as education, healthcare, defense, public goods and provision of social welfare payments all contributing to a decrease in poverty and an improvement in living standards. However, for developed countries globalisation can lead to encouraged innovation as business are able to minimise costs of production, however, it prompts a more equitable income distribution on a global scale, forcing more developed countries to use less resources and perhaps leading to a rise in inequality of income.

Globalisation has led to the increased impact of international influences on economic activity. This includes benefits to many underdeveloped countries. The benefits include advancements in technology, access to foreign aid, increased innovation, increased GDP, opportunities to immigrate and an overall decrease in national poverty. However, globalisation may also cause less developed countries to lose their sense of cultural identity, harbour political instability as well as corruption in poor governance. Globalisation may also lead to a greater gap of inequalities in terms of income, access to resources, access to health, social prospects, living standards and education.

More developed countries benefit heavily from globalisation through increased trading of goods and services, innovation, increased GDP, investment in developing countries, humanitarian assistance and labour mobility. However, this may come at a cost of the exploitation of other countries labour, increased political conflicts and increased economic immigration.

In my opinion, globalisation can contribute to the overall bettering of the world, although requires countries to work together more efficiently to reap the positive effects. If bigger economies use their power and wealth to help those of lesser development strive for growth, all economies will see large benefits in the future.

In my opinion, globalisation is the association of different countries that can lead to economic benefits and a more efficient economy. Globalisation creates positives and negatives for all countries involved whether they are developing or developed.

For developing countries, globalisation can lead to an increase in innovation and access to resources. This allows for the economy to increase their output which leads to economic growth. It also allows for aid from developed countries improving the economic development of the country and life satisfaction. The negative of globalisation is that it can lead to the exploitation of resources by foreign companies as the labour cost in developing countries is significantly less. This leads a huge social inequality as people in developing countries are experiencing far worse conditions than developed countries.

For developed countries, a huge benefit of globalisation is increased trade of goods and services. There is a greater variety of goods in domestic markets and exports will increase leading to economic growth as exports are a factor of GDP. It also allows for increased production in domestic economies as they can produce more due to increased access to resources. The negative is that on a global scale, the consequences of political confliction are far greater which leads to more wars and greater inequality for many developed countries.

Globalisation is an efficient way for developing countries to be able to attain economic growth easier. It gives these nations a better chance in the world as the innovation and research that is exchanged between countries can lead to more opportunities to produce goods and services. It also allows for the developing nations to have resources that are not obtainable in their own markets. Globalisation also leads to more trade between nations, and therefore increases the trade balance of all countries involved. This will boost economic growth due to exports being increased. If there was more globalisation then GDP could possibly increase, and this can lead to a lower unemployment rate as well as a decrease in poverty.

Globalisation is also a good thing for the more developed countries as it will increase the GDP/GDP per capita, and provides many other investment opportunities. This means they can invest into business in other nations which can boost their production of a good or the productivity of the business. The research into innovation can also benefit more developed countries. It will lead to the new technologies helping the industries produce past the previous maximum capacity.
