Hi everyone, hope you are all well and had a great weekend. Well done for last weeks session, painting water is always a difficult task and the last two weeks have focused on two different types. Being able to paint water is an important part of landscape art. Another important aspect of landscape art is capturing buildings in your work which can be tricky especially with perspective & proportions. This week we move onto to look at this in more detail and attempt a lovely old barn with trees, a sweeping path and tin roof.

This week we move onto painting a typical Staffordshire landscape painting involving a canal and the lovely flora surrounding it. We also have a boat to paint, getting the dimensions and perceptive correct which we began to look at last week. Plus the reflections on the water which we have covered in a few sessions across the course.
