My work time is from 9.00 am until 12.00 pm. The school time actually end at 2.45  pm but my manager told me she will handle the business herself with the other workers in the evening. As today is my first day,  I come a little bit earlier which is at 8.45 am. When I am arrived my manager , Cik Da first introduced me to the other workers and took me to look around the canteen area. After that she told me about the tasks that I need do along my SIEP practical at the canteen.I started my first task by helping Cik Da’s daughter who’s also a worker at the canteen to pack the cakes into plastics. This cakes will be sell  to the students and teachers of this school. Other than that ,there are many more other food that being sell like ‘keropok lekor’, ‘mee celup’, ‘nasi berlauk’ and many more. At the recess time which is at 10.15 am , the canteen started to be fill with the students. I helped the other workers at the front counter in selling foods to the students during recess. After the recess time over at 11.00 am, I cleaned the table that students used to eat and also the front counter area. Then I collected all the dirty stuff that we used and put them into the sink. My last task for today is to count the money or profit of today’s business and write the total into a bill book. This total profit will be add with the total profit during the evening sales.

I also refilled and arranged the drinks in the refrigerator. Then I start to pack ‘ keropok lekor’ into plastics and put them in a basket. During recess time, I helped the other worker to sell foods to the students . After finished, I help the workers to clean all the stuff and wipe the table . I also put all the dirty stuff into the sink and wash them.Lastly, after I finished all theI start to count the profit that we get today and write the total into the bill book . I did not charged in selling foods at front counter today but Cik Da asked me to help her in the kitchen since one of the worker did not absent. I brewed water that being requested by the teachers . My task for today was also to collect the dirty plates and cups to the teacher’s dining room and washed them. The teachers did not have specific time of recess , they come to the canteen when their schedule is free. When I arrived at the canteen, I went to the front counter to help the workers packing ‘keropok lekor’ into plastics. This ‘keropok lekor’ was fried by Mok Dah in the kitchen and was bring to the front for us to pack and sell it to the students. I also took out the bread and snacks from the kitchen and put it on the table . Beside I filled the rice onto plate with some side dishes and the 'mee' into bowls. Today’s menu is ‘nasi ayam pedas’ .When it comes to recess time the students will line up and ask for the food that they want to buy . I and the other workers will get it for them . At 11.00 am,  the recess time over. I started to collect the dirty stuff that we used and put them into the sink. I also washed the plates and arranged them nicely  on the rack . My first task was to help Cik Da in preparing the dishes and put them on the table at teacher’s dining room. There variety menus for the teacher dishes such as ‘ayam gulai’, ‘ikan singgang’, ‘ayam pedas’ and ‘telur kicap’. They can also order for the other food if they want and Cik Da will cook for them. Teachers come to the canteen when their schedule is free so they do not have specific time of recess. I prepare the rice on the plate and they will choose the side dishes themselves when they want to eat. When there is no teacher in the dining , I clean the area by wiping the tables , arranging the chairs and sweeping the floor. At 10.15am students came to the canteen and line up at the front counter to buy food. Right after i finished selling foods to the students, i collected all the dirty plates and cup and washed them. I also arranged the plates and cups that has been washed , on the rack. After that i mopped the floor at the front counter and student's dining room area . After finished, I packed keropok into plastic and arranged the rice and ‘mee celup’ on the table. At 10.15 am students came to the canteen and I was at the front counter to serve them. When the recess time over, I started to clean the front counter area. As today is my last day , I cleaned the area of student’s dining room. I sweep the floor at all the dining room area .
