James I (1603-1625)

I am king James I and I was the first Puritan King of England and I took over from the great Queen Elizabeth. I was the first king to translate the bible into English and we called it The King James Bible. I was the man in charge of the colonization of north America and I founded the town called Jamestown in Virginia the first English settlement we established.

Charles I (1625-1649)

I like James I believed that we were chosen by God to rule as King, I despised the Government and I tried to end them I even threatened them but such threats seemed to have no effect on them. Eventually my own people turned on me and started a civil war against me even though I did no wrong, My forces were called royalist and we were against round heads led by Oliver Cromwell. But sadly this war ended in us being defeated and me being executed for treason.

Oliver Cromwell (1649-1658)

I was crowned Lord protector after the end of the civil war but I did not like the whole monarchy system and established the common wealth system. I was known for my military status, I also led the conquest to Ireland and Scotland. I also had a vision of puritanical society where everyone was pure in beliefs.

Charles II (1658-1685)

I had a very tough time when Oliver ruled because he saw me as a threat due to being Charles I son. After Oliver died I came back and reestablished the monarchy. But not everything goes perfectly and sadly we had a fire so great that it took out more than half of England and the Black plague also decided to come back during my ruling for some reason.

James II (1685-1688)

I was the catholic brother of Charles II and of course due to being catholic I received a lot of backlash. I was told to step down from my position as King and I accepted peacefully. But during my time I also laid out the foundation of the bill of rights limiting the power of the monarchy.

Queen Mary (1688-1702)

I am King James II's daughter Mary and after his tragic death I was asked to rule with my cousin. We needed to get married so we could rule together since they would not let me rule by myself. During our ruling we set a constitutional monarchy, and we also passed the bill of rights that limited the monarchy.
