I started using it last week and find it to be very effective. I can lock screens, share screens, mirror screens or view them on my own iPad. I use the lock screen feature to conference with students while they are doing group work. I also lock the whole group when we do a benchmark lesson and I need them looking up at the board. Another great feature on this app is sharing. I can find a link and share it to them (similar to airdrop) but this is only one click, as the class is bundled as one group. Instead of sending and waiting for them to accept the file or website, students iPads immediately go the link that was sent (almost like an override mode). I am really enjoying the versatility of this app and have used it every day since the initial implementation.

It has been difficult to launch due to district network issues as well as software problems through Pearson. I am hoping that, over time, this will run smoother. This is extremely frustrating because we don't have a person in our building dedicated to trouble-shooting. We must rely on a Pearson Help call/chat or calling our BOCES representative which can be time-consuming. Technology is great when it works properly, but one must always have a Plan B. I am having 2 other classes get acclimated to using the iPads through an older software reading program, Achieve/Teenbiz 3000.
