Then, my suggestion for you today is to go to the heart of Bulgaria and ride the last narrow-gauge train in that country.

Chances are that, at this point, you might be wondering what narrow-gauge trains are. Before setting off this journey you have to know that they are rare species of trains which run on narrow rails and nowadays there is just one line left in Bulgaria. 

The line was constructed between the 1920s and the 1940s. It´s said that riding this narrow-gauge train is like a time-machine trip since time has stopped in the villages whose train stations you pass.

The ride is the most authentic glimpse into the lives of the people from the surrounding mountains. It cuts through the magical Rhodope Mountains and the proud Pirin Mountain.

So what are you waiting for? Tomorrow might be too late for you to hit the road...

On one hand, as they had visited all the countries in the world, they must have experienced many different cultures and have seen many different lifestyles. It is certain that they will be very respectful to others, no matter what their languages, their skins and their customs are. On the other hand, chances are that they could have come up against lots of difficulties. But unquestionably, the positives of this lifestyle certainly outweigh the negatives. 

 

After watching the video about the lovely family, I am up for a trip with my two children. This time I would like to visit an off the beaten track village, that may well be an uncharted one. I do believe that this experience we will look back on with fondness in the future.

Portillo is a famous youtuber who takes his camera to underground sites and uncharted territories.

Some of the first places he visited in order to do the famous "urban exploration" were an abandoned mansion, abandoned country house, an abandoned mine and he even entered a completely lonely town without a single living soul.

This young boy usually records his expeditions with his colleague Marc Vilas and uploads them to his YouTube channel "OKOS". They both have a great sense of adventure and they are up for the unknown. They love packing up their bags with provisions and outdoor gear. Once they arrive at the site (they usually arrive at night), they look for a place to set up camp and the next day they are ready to film their adventures.

Before embarking on those places, Portillo finds out about the history of the place. His videos are surprising because they are recorded in places where time seems to have stopped. Possibly, people who lived there might have left very quickly, leaving all their memories behind.

I recommend you to check out his Youtube channel to get away from the routine and enjoy some high-quality videos about houses where it is highly possible that ghosts wander around.

Would you like to set off for a trip where you don’t know what your final destination is going to be? Ben Morris came across this wonderful idea: to travel every day for a week and the cheapest airplane ticket tells you where. Are you up for this new adventure?

Ben Morris is a well-known globetrotter who has built his path in Youtube by sharing his adventures. In this case, he embarked on a trip which consists of travelling to the cheapest place he can find out about. 

His experience started in London on Monday, then he took a plane to Amsterdam, afterwards he visited Hamburg, Oslo and he ended up in Viena by Friday. He came up against wide difficulties such as airports bursting with people, packing for multiple climates and also he had a plane called off at the last minute once.

Chances are that you may well find this kind of trip tiring and time-consuming because you don’t have too much time to spare at the locations. However, you might discover off the beaten track places you have never heard of and it is a great opportunity to switch off from your daily responsibilities.

So successful was his idea that he inspired others to give it a try and do a similar trip.

Despite the fact that he is a seasoned globetrtter, getting this challenge, took him more than six months. Probably, he got up against numerous drawbacks, so, I suppose, he may well have thought to call it off. Fortunately, he got it and left us this inspiring book.

His book was titled Colectivaizeishon, because buses are called “colectivos” in Argentina. Not only is the book a different and fun way to visit the city, but also is full of adventures and anecdotes.

I believe, it should be a good idea for local politicians to retrace his ruotes, especially those off the beaten track, in order to find out about urbanization issues, traffic order and citizen complains. Buenos Aires may be too large to do that, but most Spanish cities are smaller, so, slowly but surely, they could achieve it.

 You only have to set off for a trip where the language barrier will be the main problem to come up against. There are a few countries such us Buthan, Comoros, Tubulu, Kiribati, where you can only speak their local language. How do you ask for directions, greeting, or where you can buy bread or water will be the problems that you will come across.

   If you are up for doing the trip, you won´t need to brush up on your language skills, because in all probablility  you will never learn  the local language before that you get in.

   There is a high possibility that after days of traveling and facing a lack of communication, you think that you made a wrong choice . Although if you are sure to achieve your aim of getting by in a country where you only hear unfamiliar sounds, you should fill your backpack with patience .
Of course, if you previously study the basics of the local language, in all probability you will have an enormous possibility to be successful.

 

Glass igloos are a great way to watch the Northern Lights from your bed, and Finish Lapland is known to be the best places to see them.

At the heart of Kakslauttanen  we can find  one of the best areas in the world where you can observe the northern lights.                                            The Northern Lights season starts at the end of August and lasts until the end of April. Therefore, I think that it would be a perfect idea if you set off this trip in September because you may find some more expensive in other months. It is extremely possible during peak times around Christmas and New Years.

Although it is a long houl trip, it is worth visiting it if you like nature. In addition, it is a place off the bitten track what you will allow to enjoy the landscape in a more relaxed way. 

On the other hand, you will be able to do a lot of fantastic activities such as skiing, snowboarding, trying dog sledding, taking a traditional Finnish sauna, learning how to kicksled, drinking cloudberry wine… In all possibility you will have a wonderful time. 

Don't put it off any longer and make your reservation as soon as possible. You will not regret it.
