 For me, this flower means a lot to me because in addition to
having seen one in person (which is rare due to its danger of extinction) and
since we were little we paint drawings in preschool (perhaps this also explains
the patriotism at this time of year ), the myth around this flower has been one
of the ones that I liked the most, which tells the reason for its name based on
a tragic story of love and enmity between the Pehueche people and one of the
most indigenous peoples present in Chile today: the Mapuche people.

It is one of the oldest squares in Basel. The square is wide and behind the Cathedral, which is also situated on the Münsterplatz, is a platform, also known as „Pfalz“. This is located on a hill, well-known as a vantage point of the Rhine, as well as the surrounding area. The boundary wall has an integrated bench. And in a corner there is a staircase, which leads from the platform to the Rhine ferry. 
The Münsterplatz is often very quiet, but various events also take place there. At the end of January, the Münsterplatz is the center of the Museum Night. Other important events such as the lanterns  exhibition of the Basel Carnival; the Allianz Cinema, an open-air cinema and part of the Basel Autumn Fair, a traditional folk festival takes place on Münsterplatz. It is my favorite place in the city.
