     I turn to my mother and grip her arm, hard. “Listen to me. Are you listening to me?” She nods, alarmed by my intensity. She must know what’s coming. “You can’t leave again,” I say. 

    My mother’s eyes find the floor. “I know. I won’t. I couldn’t help what —” 

    “Well, you have to help it this time. You can’t clock out and leave Prim on her own. There’s no me now to keep you both alive. It doesn’t matter what happens. Whatever you see on the 
    screen. You have to promise me you’ll fight through it!” My voice has risen to a shout. In it is all the anger, all the fear I felt at her abandonment. 
    -Katniss feels frustrated and overwhelmed because she doesn't know what will happen to prim without her and her mom seems to not have the mental capacity to take care of her.

    -Katniss’ mood is remembrance because the mockingjay reminded her of when her dad would sing to the birds and they would sing the song back. 
    -The mood is comforting because the bird makes Katniss feel like her father apart of her, there for her while she fights in the hunger games.
    -Katniss was going into the Hunger Games worried about her sister, Prim, being alone, but then Petta´s dad reassured her that he would look after Prim.     The mood is protective and scared because Katniss doesn’t want her mother to lose all hope and get depressed in front of Prim. She was angry because her mother had done that when Katniss’s dad died.     They are used as law enforcement and military and they’re the reason why the capital has been able to stay in power as they use brute force to put down the people.Used to escort tributes and were seen at the Reaping..They symbolize oppression as they’re the reason President Snow has been able to stay in power and they put down the people in horrific ways.Irony I say this because there supposed to be here to maintain peace however they instead cause and ensue more violence than peace as seen in the Hunger Games.
