I’m attending most of these, including Football, Basketball, Netball and Cross Country.

I love attending morning clubs because it’s a fresh start to the morning and I’m able to enjoy the sports I love. I usually find myself very energetic and optimistic on the days I play sports. Morning clubs allow us to do more “practice” time and they also help us include some sort of physical activity throughout the day.

In math, we are being taught various interesting topics and as the year progresses, we are being challenged even more.

In PE, we enhance our skills and knowledge, which also helps us play sports outside-of-class such as morning clubs, squads, classes outside of school, etc.

I do dual French and Spanish, which means that exams for languages can be quite out-of-order as they are scheduled around the same times, and we have double the pressure of a student doing a single subject. Despite this, I enjoy learning 2 languages as it allows us to explore more.

I’ve also got selected for round 2 of spelling bee for Year 7+8. I’m excited for this year as the words are going to be harder than last year. Last year, I got into the final round (round 4) and went to WSO to compete, it was an awesome experience.

I personally enjoy history because it’s a very interesting subject, and there’s a lot to explore. We have 2 progress checks so far which have helped the teacher know about our understanding of the topic and certain “skills” used.

My class didn’t have our assessment but out grades for term 1 were based on everything + the fact that it’s first term so we are given a grade “we have to work towards”.
