Melodrama is like a funny play where there are some stereotypical charterers. These characters are called stock characters. We learnt that we have to use emotions, sounds and big movements to make a perfect melodrama. We have to use our bodies to try and represent the emotion. I didn't feel scared or nervous when I was asked to perform and I found nothing difficult as I used to dramatic-ize everything. It was normal. I enjoy melodrama and I do it sometimes. So, I am used to it. The only thing which I think will be difficult is laughing when you are not supposed to. Like when you are supposed to be sad but then you start laughing. So tat would be a struggle. • The stock characters are Percy who is the hero, Rose who is the damsel, Crouch the villain's sidekick and Lord Septic who is the villain.
• Vachon,  Isabelle and Emma are in my group. 
• I play Crouch in the play.
• Crouch is a person who is the villain's sidekick. He acts stupid and is funny , but at the same time he tries to act like he is also the villian.

We had a problem which was that Emma, Isabelle and I wanted to be in a group but there were no 3 person pages. There were only 2 or 4 people. We did not want to be a 4 because we have Percy and Rose scenes in that and none of us really liked. But then we also did not want to split in groups of 2 because then Emma and Isabelle would  work together and I would have to work with Vachan and do the first 2 pages. So we decide to be a 4 and we all decided the roles. Isabelle and I wanted to do the villian and sidekick parts which left Emma with Percy or Rose. Emma wanted to do Percy because she liked the role so she choose Percy instead of Rose. Then when Vachan came to school he got to know that he was going to be Rose. He did not act wierd and he took it like a normal person. What went well: We all (becides Vachan) wore all the right colours as in Isabelle and I wearing black and Emma wearing bright colours. We had sort of memorized our lines as we only and a few lessons to practice. We and all the props which we needed and performed really well. The best part is that we enjoyed this making. Everyone enjoyed it. If we had more time then we would have totally memorized the lines.
