The vikings carved dragon heads or sea serpents into the bow of the ships<br><br>4. The vikings didn't have a king that had a chief of a certain part of land.<br><br>5. Viking clothes were made from wool, linen and animal skins. The Vikings were skillful weavers and made their own clothes. Women, with the help of children, made the wool into yarn and used natural dyes from plants to give it color&nbsp;<br><br>6. Things that are unique about vikings are that:&nbsp;<br>- When the vikings arrived in England they killed or frightened the locals and stole gold, church leaders believed that the vikings had been sent by god as a punishment.&nbsp;<br>- The boats ranged from 16 to 37 meters long and and as many as 60 vikings could fit in it. The vikings had designed the boats to be easy to navigate on high seas or though shallow rivers.&nbsp;<br>- A viking outlaws could legally be kill by anyone.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>According to historical sources, a Viking funeral consisted of cremation in a ship. Many funerals took place on land with the deceased being cremated on a pyre, (a structure, usually made of wood), in a boat and piles of stone and soil being lain on top of the burnt remains. Pyre's were built on a ship, usually shaped like a dragon's nose.</div>]]></description>
