One of the discoveries meteorology has made about weather is that sometimes the types of clouds can foreshadow what weather can occur, similarly for wind and humidity as well.  The branch of genetics taught us that all living organisms have  Deoxyribonucleic acid in each cell which is our genetic coding that makes each living organism what it is. Genetics also has advanced so much we are able to observe DNA closely and see how each person has a particular coding that say if a person has brown eyes or not as an example.
