This unit is explored through the following lines of inquiry:
  • how self-efficacy enhances human accomplishments and well-being (function)
  • our independence and responsibility in physical and digital environments (connection)
  • the changes we go through during puberty (change)

During this unit I am gathering evidence to showcase my understanding of the Learner Profile attributes: reflection and open minded. Take a look at the ways I have shown these and how I’ve developed my understanding of these profiles.

I made a solar powered neck pillow fan to use on hiking trips and I also explained how it works and how it is sustainable like the solar powered neck pillow fan helps us keep cool and comfortable as well as using solar panels to be good to the enviorment.
My next step is to use energy transfer and transformation in more technological advances.

I could also use my learning and findings to make a whole summary of what were the research findings, how it connects and how it helps us understand what is the question's answer. Another thing I did was that I used social intelligence. I can prove it because I was doing the research stage, I was doing forms. During that, I chose what questions to ask the other students. I chose the appropriate questions and used the answers to add to my summary
   What I can improve is that I would need to use more than one source to find out more that can make us understand more of the conceptual question and can use more of my research & ideas to help me with my own research.

I have continued to work on my thinking and communication skills focusing on ways I can consider new perspectives and also how to be an effective speaker and listener when trying to persuade an audience. 

I have learned much more about and gained new understandings of our related concepts: consumption/consumer, choice, finite resources (Earth’s natural resources), depletion, sustainability, solutions
