         <description><![CDATA[<div>Some of the different types of hospitals include...<br>General Hospitals- General hospitals treat a wide range of conditions and age groups. General hospitals usually provide diagnostic, surgical, medical, and emergency care services.<br>Specialty-&nbsp; Specialty hospitals provide care for specific ages and conditions. Examples of specialty hospitals include oncology (cancer hospitals),&nbsp; burn treatment hospitals,&nbsp; pediatric (children) hospitals, psychiatric (mental) hospitals, orthopedic (bone and joint) hospitals, and rehabilitative (physical therapy) hospitals.&nbsp;<br>Government Hospitals-&nbsp; Government hospitals are operated by state, federal, and local government agencies. Examples of government hospitals are Veteran Administration hospitals, state rehabilitation centers, and state psychiatric hospitals.<br>University or College Medical Centers- University or college medical centers provide research and education as well as hospital services and treatment.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Some of the different types of long-term care facilities include...<br>Residential Care Facilities-&nbsp; Residential care facilities provide physical and emotional care for individuals who can no longer care for themselves.<br>Extended Care Facilities or Skilled Care Facilities-&nbsp; These facilities are designed to provide skilled nursing care and rehabilitative care to prepare patients to return to their homes or to another facility.&nbsp;<br>Independent Living and Assisted Living Facilities-  These allow for individuals who are able to care for themselves to rent out or purchase an apartment in the facility. They provide service such as meals, laundry, housekeeping, transportation, social events, and basic medical treatment. </div>]]></description>

They are also beneficial to those with frequently occurring health issues that interfere with their ability to function daily. Long-term care facilities are designed for those who need to be cared for and monitored frequently. &nbsp;</div>]]></description>
