Frogs Eyes

I bet you think that a frog's eyes are only for seeing, but you're wrong. Frog's eyes have several interesting uses. The first fact about frog's eyes is that some frogs close their eyes and when they're in danger. They open their eyes really quick to scare the predator away. The second thing about frog's eyes is that their eyes are on each side of their head so they can see all around themselves. If there is a predator trying to sneak up on the frog, the frog can still see it. The last interesting fact about frog's eyes are how they use them to EAT. When a frog is eating, it closes it's eyes so their eyes push the food down their throat. I hope that you learned something new about frog's eyes.

Frogs Colors

Frogs have meanings for their colors, so here are a few. The first thing to know is that many frogs with bright skin are poisonous. Be careful! Some frogs camouflage themselves to make it look like they're poisonous to scare predators away. The next fact is that they have different SHAPED eyes. The pupils can be star shaped, heart shaped, triangular slit shaped, oval shaped and there's still more I haven't even mentioned. And instead of the pupils being colored, their irises are colored gold, brown, green, or even silver. The last fact is that frogs have different colors than toads. Toads are usually beige or brown and frogs are usually green or lighter beige than toads. Now you know that frogs colors mean more than just looking good.

A Frogs Body

There are many things you probably didn't know about a frog's body. The first thing about a frog's body is that a frog's tongue is almost longer than its body. A frog needs this because when a bug flies it can be super far away so the tongue can still catch a bug even if it's flying. The next fact about a frog is that its ears are actually in its THROAT . And the ears are round and literally inside its skin. Another fact is that frog's legs are so strong that they can jump ten times their own body length. The longest frog hop was thirty-three feet and 5 inches. The last fact is that frog's feet are webbed so the frog can swim very well. This assures that a frog can get away from frogs very easily. I think the frog has many unique features and I think you should too.
