When growing up, I didn't like to sit and read long passages on how to start something. I usually liked seeing it in person and getting the chance to experiment with the lesson that I was learning in school.
When I was in High school we were learning about body movements in my Biomedical class. I was so curious on to how someones body could move, that I asked the teacher if we could have hands on activities with an animal leg. It was one of best moments I had with learning how something moved.
I really liked how this exercise was used. Because of how the teacher listened to my request and how the next day we were all able to accurately see how a limb can move.

In my government class, the professor had us think about past experiences that we've had with a topic we were talking about. He then proceeded to explain why he had us remember about the past and made certain points in the lesson. It made learning about the topic, way easier for me. It also gave me an idea on how to start the homework question.
I had another class that went straight into the teaching and when it ended, we were all allowed to leave. I was confused on the assignment. Since it was something that I have never seen nor heard about it. I didn't like how the teacher didn't ask if we knew anything about what we were learning.

When I was younger, I wasn't a big fan of math. But I really wanted to get a good grade on my math final. I decided to pay more attention in my math class and even got the chance to ask many more questions to the math teacher at the time. She took all of my answers and saw how hard I was working. She even helped me problems that were a little too hard for me. I really liked how my teacher was encouraging me to ask questions and helping me out.
It was a goal of mine was to pass my art class, but unfortunately the teacher I had was not helping me with the questions that I did have. I didn't pass the class with an A because of the lack of help from my teacher and I felt like a failure.

When I was learning how to ride my very first bicycle, I didn't understand the instructions that my dad was telling me. So I decided to go ride the bike on my own.I fell a bunch of times, but at the end I learned how to ride my bike like a pro.
I think that the experience taught how to be independent and to learn how to solve things on my own.
Another time that I was learning it was hard for me to retain the information. the teacher put me in a group with my classmates, we both didn't understand what was going. So we both took turns trying to solve the problem. At the end we did understand it but it took forever for us to learn the lesson.

In middle school I had an experience where I was struggling on remembering what moon phases were and the names of the phases. The teacher wouldn't let me ask for help and it resulted in me getting a bad grade on a worksheet. I wanted help from another student because usually they would explain ways on how to memorize it better.
Another time where I did have a good experience with cooperating was with Spanish. I had a hard time reading in Spanish, my teacher at the time took time to help me and to have my other classmates encourage me to read more in Spanish.
