The illustrations of Morris Lessmore getting lost in the pages of the books, not emerging for days is what resonated most with me. I liked watching him skip through the pages as the letters flew behind him in tow. I like the feeling of getting lost in a book- it's like an adventure that you get to go on without paying money for a fancy trip. I just wish I could find more time to get lost in the excitement of a book. Maybe shorter books are more manageable at this point in my life. Morris Lessmore- less is more I guess.

That book was sad. It reinforces how everyone's life is a story and each person has something important to say. It also illustrates how reading and writing can be a means of escape which I think is appealing to teenagers who are oftentimes looking for an outlet. It was a beautiful story.

This book makes me think about blogs as a place to hold my joys and sorrows in a community of writers. Looking back on past blog posts is a way to go back to a time in my life and right away remember.
