What was the purpose behind these trials? They also accused some women in their village of witchcraft. Because of these accusation, panic spread through the town. A special court was organized to hear the cases which lead to many deaths. Some women were hanged that June  while more than 150 people were accused the following months.

Labors mostly came from indentured servants from England rather than Indian and African slaves due to resistance. The author described the colony as pierce headed by God. It’s very rare for people to die and disease to spread. People have a lot of ways to maintain life.
