More vehicles filled the streets, and several factories began to operate near the town. The fresh air they once loved slowly started to change.

2.Complication:

One afternoon while playing, Ara suddenly started coughing because of the smoke in the air. Haris felt his chest tighten, while Firda and Miftah quickly covered their noses. They looked around and saw that the sky was no longer clear; it was gray with pollution. Even the trees near their playground looked weak and dusty. Many children in town often got sick, and some elderly people had breathing problems. The four friends were very worried about what was happening to their town.

3.Evaluation:

The next day, they met after school to talk seriously. Firda said, “We cannot just stay quiet. We must do something to make the air clean again.” Ara agreed, saying, “If people reduce using motorcycles, maybe the pollution will get better.” Haris suggested, “Why don’t we ask our school to start a tree-planting program?” Then Miftah added, “We should also learn about clean energy, like solar panels and wind power, to replace fossil fuels.” They realized that the problem was big, but if everyone helped, they could make a difference.

4.Resolution:

The four friends decided to start a campaign at school called Clean Energy, Healthy Air. They encouraged their classmates to walk or ride bicycles instead of using motorcycles. That morning, Mega went to the car-free day area in Galuh Mas. She started jogging slowly while waiting for the morning aerobics group.

2.Complication:

As she ran, her eyes caught sight of a teenager daringly riding a motorcycle into the Al Azhar field area where the car-free day was in full swing. Mega stopped her jog and approached the teenager.

"Hey, you! Why are you bringing a motorcycle into this area?" Mega asked.

The teenager, whose name was Puan a high school student on her way to an aerobics class turned around, looking confused. "What's wrong? This is a public road," she replied.

Mega patiently explained.

3.Evaluation:

"This is a car-free day. Don't you know what a car-free day is?"

"I'm in a hurry, ma'am," Puan said in a rushed tone.

"Yes, but you shouldn't be riding a motorcycle in this area," Mega clarified. "A car-free day is a day without vehicles, where people can exercise, like skipping, doing aerobics, cycling, or even playing badminton. As a young person, you should be more aware of your surroundings."

4.Resolution:

Puan was silent for a moment, processing Mega's words. Her face showed a hint of regret. "Ah, you're right. I shouldn't have been so selfish and should have followed government programs like this car-free day."

"Exactly. Just don't do it again, okay?" Mega said with a friendly smile. "Come on, let's exercise together to stay healthy and also to maintain the air quality around us."

Complications:

Over time, Human burned more fossil fuels to feed factories, cars, and machines. Thick smoke filled the air, forests were cut and set ablaze, oceans grew polluted, and ice caps melted. Luma grew weaker. Her green hair turned dull, her eyes clouded with pain. She suffered floods, wildfires, and violent storms. Animals cried as their homes disappeared, while rural communities and cities alike struggled with extreme weather. Yet Human ignored her pain, blinded by greed, exploiting the Earth for profit.

Evaluation:

But as the damage spread, Human began to see the truth. Crops failed, disasters destroyed cities, and many people lost their homes. Human realized that their selfishness had brought suffering not only to Luma but also to themselves and the creatures they lived with. Some humans started speaking out, demanding change, planting trees, and seeking cleaner energy. Still, the challenge was great, for greed and habit were hard to break.

Resolution:

Finally, more and more humans united. They reduced their dependence on fossil fuels and turned to renewable energy—wind, water, and sunlight. Forests were replanted, oceans were cleaned, and animals were protected. Eco-friendly policies were made to ensure a safer future. Slowly, Luma’s strength returned. Her hair shone green again, her blue eyes sparkled with life, and balance was restored.

Coda:

The story of Luma and Human reminds us that the Earth suffers when we are careless, but it also heals when we act with love. Global warming is not just Luma’s pain—it is ours too. Together, humans learned that protecting the Earth means protecting themselves, and that caring for nature is the key to a brighter future.

At home, the same problem happened his family often suffered when the fridge and air conditioner suddenly stopped working. Everyone complained, but no one seemed to know how to solve it. Arie felt sorry for his family and friends, who had to pay high bills while the electricity was still unstable.

Evaluation :

Arie started to think: “Why do we depend only on electricity from non-renewable energy? Isn’t there another source we can use?” He took out his notebook and drew a sketch of solar panels. Excitedly, he shared his idea with his friends. They admired his creativity, but some adults doubted him at first. They thought solar panels would be too expensive and complicated.

Resolution :

With the support of his family, Arie installed a small solar panel at home as an experiment. The result was amazing the lights stayed on even when the power from the grid went out. Andi then revealed that he had tried making a simple solar panel, sparking everyone’s curiosity and hope.

   The discussion made the villagers realize how serious the problem was. Constant blackouts disrupted daily life, education, and productivity. At the same time, they understood that the future of their village depended on sustainable energy. In a small village called Green Village, electricity often went out, especially at night. The villagers felt troubled, children couldn’t study, and evening activities were disturbed. In that village lived Andi and Rina, two friends who cared about their surroundings.

“Rina, last night I wanted to study but the light went out again. How long are we going to live like this?” said Andi.

“I feel the same. It seems like every night is always dark. If only there were a way for our village to have its own electricity,” said Rina.

The village was indeed remote, far from the city center, so the electricity supply was limited. The villagers could only surrender whenever a blackout happened.

One day, Dewi, a university student doing community service, came to stay temporarily in the village. She noticed a small waterfall with strong flowing water near the village.

“Andi, Rina, I have an idea. If we build a simple turbine at that waterfall, we could generate our own electricity,” said Dewi.

“Really, Dewi? A waterfall can become a source of electricity?” asked Andi.

“Of course! That’s called renewable energy. Flowing water can turn a turbine, and that produces electricity,” said Dewi.

Andi and Rina were excited to hear the idea. They then went to talk to Mr. Bayu, the village head and a respected farmer in the village.

“Sir, we have an idea from Dewi. If we install a turbine at the waterfall, it can generate electricity and flow it into our village,” said Andi.

“Hmm… that’s a very good idea. But building a turbine will surely need manpower and cooperation,” said Mr. Bayu.

“We’re ready to help, Sir! If the villagers join, it can definitely be realized,” said Rina.

“Alright, tomorrow we’ll gather the villagers for community work. If this succeeds, our village won’t have to depend on the city’s electricity anymore,” said Mr. Bayu.

The next day, the villagers gathered together. With Dewi’s guidance and Andi and Rina’s enthusiasm, they built a simple turbine from wood, scrap metal, and a dynamo. After several days, the turbine was finally installed under the flowing waterfall.

When the turbine first spun, the lamps in the village hall lit up brightly. All the villagers cheered with joy.

“Look, Andi! The lights are on! We did it!” shouted Rina happily.

“Yes, this proves that teamwork and knowledge can bring big changes,” said Andi.

“Thank you, children. Because of your idea, our village now has its own light,” said Mr. Bayu, expressing gratitude to Dewi, Andi, and Rina.

“Remember, this is just the beginning. We can develop other renewable energy sources so the village becomes even more independent,” said Dewi.

Since then, Green Village changed into a bright place at night. Children could study, villagers could work comfortably both day and night, and the village became known as “The Village of Light.” All of this was achieved thanks to cooperation, care, and the use of the environment.

1. Orientation : My name is irhas, and I love the beach very much. Every summer, my family always goes on vacation to the beach near our city. The beach has soft white sand, clear blue sea water, and calm waves. I always look forward to playing in the sand, swimming, and searching for shells there.

2. Complication : However, this vacation was different. When we arrived at the beach, the weather was very bad. The sky was cloudy, the wind was blowing hard, and the waves were very big. My father said we couldn't swim because it was too dangerous. I was very disappointed. I had imagined how much fun it would be to play in the water and sunbathe.

3.Evaluation : I sat on the beach with a gloomy face. Suddenly, I saw a little boy trying to build a sandcastle. He seemed to be having trouble because the waves kept hitting his castle. I felt sorry for him, but I also didn't know what to do.

4. Resolution : Without thinking, I approached the boy and offered help. We both worked together to build a stronger and taller sandcastle. We used buckets, shovels, and even our own hands.
