He is a Bengali person and he was born in 1861. Rabindaranath Tagore was the first Asian to win the Nobel prize for literature. India that a multilingual state, has adopted Rabindranath Tagore as its national anthem. Tagore's contribution is particularly significant in elevating Bengali literature and music to its modern age. His name is Rabindranatha Takura and He died in 1941.
