Having a goal is important because when we have a clear goal we can achieve it step by step. We must have short, medium and long term goals so as we fulfill them we will have motivation. My short term goal is to improve my English, learning and practicing it every day. In the medium term, I want to start the process to obtain papers here and be able to approve my career (revalidate my career credentials ) and get a job. I would like to work in a health administrative area or in a laboratory. Achieving these goals is not easy. To reestablish myself in a new language and culture at my age brings many challenges. Being alone here and not having family or friends is one of the most difficult challenges. I became a nurse in 2004 after three years of study at the university. I worked first in an Non Governmental Organization called -Espoir Vie Togo-  This organization supports the person immunodeficiency.  I worked for four years in this organization. I applied for a job in the government health field center where I worked from May 15 2008 to May 14 2018. Our team consisted of six nurses and two doctors. I left for the United States at May 15 2008. 
 
My future goal in the health field is to become doctor to help people even more than I was nurse. I am aware that becoming doctor requires a big effort. But I will do my best to reach my goal.

Before I came to U.S, I studied computer science, but I always dreamed to study nursing.
I prefer nursing because  I would like to communicate with people in person more than on

 I decided to study medicine  because I believe that a person’s health is their most important asset and I want to learn as much about maintaining a healthy lifestyle as possible, the human body's function, how to protect and fight diseases and teach and help others.
 Our ability to enjoy life, no matter how wealthy, or how many material possessions we have, ultimately depends on our health.
