Because this product does not use foam, it is transparent and allows for visualization of the wound bed without removal of the dressing. This cuts down on pain from removing the dressing and also allows for more frequent assessment of the area.

This is a new product and thus is not mass produced at this time. This will be more expensive than other products on the market at this time. Also, because it is not hooked to suction, it might not be aggressive enough for some wounds.

I think this product has many potential benefits and I could see it being used somewhere like in military service as a temporary stop gap until more aggressive treatment is available. With some of the wounds I have seen on the inpatient side, I am not sure that this would provide enough suction for some of the deeper/long term/more extensive wounds.

For this project, I selected Andrew (Activator), Angelica (Analytical), Faith (Futuristic), Matthew (Maximizer), and Daisy (Developer). I wanted everyone on my team to have a different strength so that the group would be well rounded and that each person could bring something different to the table. If there is to be a hospital wide roll out, an Activator would be needed to get the project going. Before that happens, Daisy (Developer) would be best suited to get a plan on board in conjunction with Angelica (analystical) who would be able to suggest how to best do that. Matthew (maximizer) would bring the potential of the project to light while Faith (futuristic) could then work with Andrew to roll out the project to the masses. My top quality was Command, so I would be best suited in organizing the team and putting them where their own potential could be maximized. For these reasons, I believe this would be a solid, well-rounded team.
