Malaysia's crown jewel is our cultural mix with various traditions, colours, music and art, but yet we live harmoniously together, stronger. In dealing with the lack of culture appreciation and lost of culture by a large society, this proposal presents a conservatory for people from all generations that can come together, creating a stronger bond, knowing and learning about differentiation through the promotion of culture awareness and understanding of our culture. Other than that, this conservatory will help to promote programming events and activities which provide opportunities for cultural enrichment of all locals or tourists through active participations. Moreover, creating a new platform or venue and education to associations of artists and to individuals involved in artistic and cultural activities. Here, people can freely interact, share ideas and be creative without any boundaries. TE:MÜ is always delighted to welcome newcomers to join and be apart of our culture society.

"Culture"  is a set of beliefs, practices and symbols that are learned and shared. Together, they form an all-encompassing, integrated whole that binds people together and shapes their worldview and lifeways.

The main purpose of this thesis is to create a Mixed-use Cultural Centre for the existing floating market into an idyllic environment. 

Kelantan is a well-known state in Malaysia that offers a rich culture and tradition with other unique cultures influences by other countries. One of the most prominent cultural venues created is Pasar Terapung in Tumpat. 

The local economy relies on this place itself due to the well-received attention from local visitors itself but with the lack of cultural identity and facilities, it is not listed as one of the topmost visited places in Malaysia despite its own unique traits. 

Hence, through this proposed idea, this essentially serves the purpose by proving the potential establishment of the site into a thriving tourism hub, acting as a commercial platform as a marketing strategy to sustain the socio-economic, to provide an alternative means of cultural exchange towards attaining unity and embellish the sense of place through sustainability.

Motorsport is the most technology contributor to the advancement of the automotive industry in testing the technology capabilities and expertise. Lack of exposure and community awareness toward motorsport's important and golden side resulting in this sector ending in Malaysia despite its existing motorsport racing platform at Sepang International Circuit and its golden opportunity to improve and uplift Malaysia motorsport and automotive industry. However, how can this awareness and interest in motorsport be invoked among the community and young generation? 

This proposal is to be designed to attract the young generation and community by giving them exposure and knowledge in motorsport while at the same time influence them to see the golden side of motorsport resulting in them having an interest in this area, thus uplifting the Malaysian motorsport industry.

In view of What a Waste 2.0: A Global Snapshot of Solid Waste Management (by World Bank Group), by 2050, the world is relied upon to create 3.40 billion tons of waste every year, expanding drastically from the present 2.01 billion tons. The world is on a direction where waste generation will definitely outpace the population development by more than twofold by 2050. Thus, the industrial architecture of waste management in this area is an important field to propose design strategies that are needed for an effective hybridization of public spaces in waste recycling centres and whether it could be designed as a socially progressive model in order to fulfil the compact urban fittings. Thus, changing its negative image in social perception.
