You have been tasked to do research on students’ satisfaction in the College. Which research method do you think would be more suitable for your research? Why? Provide justification for your choice.
If you are asked to find out the relationship between age and religiosity in the UK, which research method would you choose? Explain.
Write a research hypothesis for this topic: Substance abuse among adolescents and youth unemployment. Is this a quantitative or a qualitative research?
What kind of data collection strategy would you use to conduct the research on this topic: How has freelancing become a new field of interest among the youth in 2020; In-depth-interview or closed-ended questioner? Why?

1. Quantitative method because it is based on numbers, which makes the research Less in-depth but more breadth of information across a large number of cases.
2. Qualitative, because the main purpose of the research is to find out the causes, principles, development status and prediction of the future through the investigation of the selected topics, then collect and process non numerical data, and try to explain, summarize and summarize some useful laws from these data, so as to help people understand social life more deeply.
3. I think it's qualitative research. Because youth substance abuse and youth unemployment need to count the number of people and select qualified people from all teenagers.
4. In-depth-interview. Because as a qualitative research method, interviews can collect more individual details than closed-ended questioner. The research is aimed at the spread of freelancing, the reason of choosing to freelance among youth can be very subjective and individualized. Therefore interviews can collect more detailed personal information than questioner.

1. qualitative research is more suitable, because qualitative research is especially suitable for exploratory research. Qualitative research can deeply understand the thoughts and personal experiences of college students.
2. Quantitative research. Because the relationship, age and religiosity is a quantitative variable because it represents a measurable quantity.
3.Problematic substance use among adolescents increases the likelihood of unemployment and reduces the chances of finding and keeping a job. This is a qualitative research.
4.we will conduct in-depth interviews, because in-depth interviews are oral, so there will be more open questions or answers. And the data will be much more detailed. And in-depth interviews can give people more ideas.

1. Quantitative research, which examines the question of whether student satisfaction with the College can be quantified, using quantitative data that are counted or compared within a numerical range, ultimately resulting in student satisfaction with the College
2.Qualitative Research Strategy ,We want to examine the relationship between age and religious belief in Britain in the light of social phenomena, a strategy for qualitative research.
3.it's quantitative research,Because this is a problem that needs to be counted
4.In depth interview is a better way to collect data compared to closed ended questionnaires because when it comes down to finding the interest of freelancing the focus group could state why they want to do it. Moreover, these questions would be beneficial data due to the descriptions and reasons given by the focus group. On the other closed ended questioner limit the explanation of choice because they are easier to answer, frequently the audience are asked yes or no questions and that might be confusing.
