Desmarcatge | Acció d'alliberar-se del marcatge d'un adversari.
Paret | Quan dues persones es passen la pilota seguidament (sovint al primer toc) per tal de superar un adversari.
Driblatge | Acció d'un jugador de deixar enrere els adversaris que el marquen mentre avança controlant la pilota.
Fintes | Moviment executat amb un objectiu diferent del que aparenta, que s'utilitza per a treure profit de la reacció errònia de l'adversari.
Ajudes | Suport tàctic d'un o més jugadors a un company d'equip en situació de defensa.
Desdoblament | És una acció que permet mantenir una ocpuació racional del terreny de joc quan es produeixen atacs i contraatacs del equip que té la pilota.
