I chose this picture to represent how important plants are to society. Plants are essential for human survival. During photosynthesis, plants convert carbon dioxide into oxygen. Humans convert oxygen into carbon dioxide. This picture represents how humans are beneficial (in some ways) to plant life and how humans would not survive without plants. We must work together to thrive.

While this video doesn't describe photosynthesis in detail, I think it is useful for any young person wondering what photosynthesis is. When SpongeBob says "lets act like plants," he breathes in and out, implying the process of sunlight coming in and releasing co2. As a young child, I remember thinking about this scene to remember what photosynthesis was and how plants survived.

I believe Grasslands are in the most danger of ecological change. The precipitation in lots of grasslands is getting smaller and smaller. These grasslands are also experiencing increasing fires, destroying wetland habitats. The destruction caused by the fires have also forced animals to migrate to survive.

This diagram accurately represents the effects of the agricultural revolution. Before the revolution, humans only grew what was needed for them to survive. Humans had very limited food consumption due to lack of option. Plants were domesticated, creating easier processes for consumption. Now, humans get more of a share of food.

This is what I imagine the world will look like if we continue the use of fast fashion, plastic, and global-warming gases in 100 years. I think technology will be very advanced like shown in the movie Wall-E. People will be too lazy to even walk anymore. My hope is that we can make the entire world aware and all on the same page moving forward. We can do better.
