         <description><![CDATA[<p><a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.eacmarin.org/internship-apply"><strong>West Marin Environmental Action Committee Internship Opportunities.</strong></a><strong> </strong>Coastal Advocates Summer Session 2024, <strong>Deadline</strong>: Apply by March 15, 2024.</p><p><strong>Description</strong>: Useful fields of study include coastal conservation, environmental science, and advocacy. Coastal Advocates work alongside our team to manage the local chapter of the state-wide MPA Watch program (Marin MPA Watch). Interns gain valuable leadership and communication skills through assisting with<em> program and data management, volunteer recruitment and training, events and community outreach, and communications.</em> In addition, they often help with key EAC events, and build donor and partner relationship skills. You will be able to save your application progress and submit at a later time. </p><p><strong>Priority Deadline </strong>March 2, 2024; No GPA Requirement</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What</strong>: The <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.aiaa.org/get-involved/k-12-students/scholarships"><strong>AIAA Lockheed Martin Marillyn Hewson Scholarship</strong></a><strong> </strong> <strong>Who</strong>: a female Senior High School student who is planning to pursue an engineering major at a college or university. The applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, have a minimum GPA of 2.5, must demonstrate financial need, and show an interest in a career in the aerospace defense sector to receive a scholarship award of up to $10,000. <strong>Requirements</strong>: current transcript, 500-1000 word essay, Letter of Recommendation along with a completed Application. <strong>Due </strong>on December 31st, 2023.</p><p><br/></p><p><br><strong>What</strong>: <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.agitraining.com/scholarships"><strong>The American Graphic Institute Design Thinking Scholarship</strong></a><strong> Who</strong>: students enrolled in degree programs at any accredited college or university in the United States to receive up to $1000. <strong>Required documents</strong><em>:</em> an essay of 500 – 1500 words, proof of legal residency in the United States along with a completed Application. <strong>Due</strong>: The complete application package will be due on December 31st, 2023.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
