When I was researching for this dish I found many versions of it. I believe this dish is a modern dish because of the particular spiciness. Similar to my culture's table manners because we say thank you when we receive and finish our food. One big cultural table manner difference is slurping noodles is considered very rude in my culture and a more obvious difference is that we don't use chopsticks. In this particular restaurant the atmosphere was mostly modern because most of the costumers were young and diverse and the staff were young Japanese workers. It was noticeable because of the anime and manga posters hung around the restaurant.
