This is our observation:
The image (nail) formed is a bit enlarged than the normal and usual size.
If a ray of light is travelling from air to glass. The light will bend.

When the the beaker with the coin was empty, the coin appeared to be regular in size. Once we added water to the beaker, we observed that the coin looked enlarged from the sides. Meanwhile the the coin looked regular from the top and bottom.
