What is it?
T Nazi-Soviet Non Aggression Pact was signed on August 23 1939 between Germany and the Soviet Union that promised mutual non-aggression. This pact ended as Germany attacked the USSR on 1941.

How did it shape the international order?
The signing of this pact allowed Germany to avoid a war in two fronts. When the British declared war on Germany for invading Poland, Russia did not fight against Germany.

Summary
The Nazi-Soviet Non-aggression Pact allowed Germany to avoid a war on two fronts. Although the Nazis and the Soviets both predicted benefit to their own nation, there were public criticism towards the pact regarding the two countries' ability to cooperate. The criticism became a reality as Germany broke the pact on 1941.

The main purpose of this coalition was to prevent Germany from breaking any more articles of the Treaty of Versailles.

How did it shape the international order?
The coalition is not maintained, as Britain signs the Anglo-German Naval Treaty and Italy's invasion of Abyssinia. Finally, Fascist Italy left the coalition. Britain and France's disapproval of Italy's expansionism is one of the reasons behind the closer relationship between Germany and Italy.

Conclusion
The formation and failure of the Stresa Front was one of the many failed attempt to block Germany from starting another war.

What is it?
Britain pitied Germany for having to go through the harsh terms of the Treaty of Versailles and Hitler knew How Britain thought of Germany. What was also appealing to Britain was that Germany could be a "buffer against Communism." This led up to the signing of the Anglo-German Naval Treaty that allowed Germany to have a navy as big as 35% of that of Britain.

How did it shape the international order?
The Anglo-German Naval Treaty of 1935 allowed Germany to violate the Treaty of Versailles, for it allowed Germany a navy one-third of the size of Britain's. After signing this treaty, Germany started to construct the Luftwaffe. In a bigger picture, this treaty quickened German rearmament and prepared them for a Blitzkrieg.

Summary
The British attempt to use Germany as a weapon against the Communists failed, only making Germany a stronger military force.

It was like a gambit in chess: if we hadn't made that move, the war would have started earlier, much to our disadvantage. It was very hard for us - as Communists, as anti-fascists - to accept the idea of joining forces with Germany. It was difficult enough for us to accept the paradox ourselves. For their part, the Germans too were using the treaty as a maneuver to win time. Their idea was to divide and conquer the nations which had united against Germany in World War I and which might united against Germany again. Hitler wanted to deal with his adversaries one at a time. He was convinced that Germany had been defeated in World war I because he tried to fight on two fronts at once. The treaty he signed with us was his way of trying to limit the coming war to one front.

What is it?
The Non Aggression Pact of 1934 was a pact between Poland and Germany, the first pact signed between Nazi Germany and another nation. Hitler's goals of signing this pact were to lessen the Polish people's fear of Germans and to interfere with France and Poland's relationship. Meanwhile, Poland was fearful of becoming overly dependent of European powers and rising tensions with Germany, which drove them to sign the pact with Germany.

How did it shape the international order?
As a result of signing of this treaty, Germany and Poland's relation improved while Poland and France's relation weakened. The treaty also eased down Polish fear against Germany, that may have unfavourably affected how Poland reacted to the German attack of September 1st 1939.
Summary
The treaty eased German-Polish relations for a limited period of time, ending up as a German invasion of Poland, which led Britain and France to declare war on Germany.

The pact stated that if one of these two nations go to war, the other nation has to assist the nation that went to war.

How did it shape the international order?
Mussolini's son in law disagreed with the signing of this treaty for the potential damages of Italy, but Mussolini considered forming an alliance with Germany more important than future political problems. Also, similar pacts were signed in Europe around 1939. The Anglo-Polish Treaty is an example to this, for it was a treaty that assured mutual assistance.
