With his head phones on, short shorts ready, bracers super rainbow-y, and socks tall as his knees, he rolls on down sidewalk with a smile in his heart and and on his face. There are a few passers by and doing silly things, Disco Frank attempts to get their attention. But no one looks up. Its as if all these adults can’t see him. It dawns on Disco that this might not be the easiest thing he’s ever done. 
 
 As Disco enters the park, his slow skating starts to match his slowly sinking mood. No amount of silliness is being seen. No person is as special as his Miss Aiden. Maybe this is what it is to be unseen and unloved. He slows to a stop, takes his backpack off, and sits against the base of a tree. The leaves are beautiful. Disco starts to contemplate how he could still see beauty in the world even if he isn’t seen. Life is going on around him and its all still wonderful. Captured by the moment, Disco throws some leaves in the air just to watch them fall with a smile on his face. He takes a picture he borrowed off the wall of Miss Aiden’s room out of his backpack and smiles at it, touching it lovingly. 

He stands up, dusts himself off and skates in circles beaming in his reverie. He skates by a bench with a small boy and his dad sitting on it. The boy is bored, and his dad is on his cellphone, scrolling as always. The little boy turns as he SEES Disco twirling about. The small boy jumps off the bench to go join him. Disco realises that this boy is dancing WITH him and stops! Disco sits down with exaggerated tiredness and the boy sits next to him. The boy tells Disco he thinks he’s very funny! And Disco is close to tears. He asks the boy if he can really see him. The boy nods happily and asks Disco Frank if he wants to be friends. Disco slowly reaches out and hugs the boy. Disco feels joyous. Of course they can be friends. 

Miss Aiden (10-year-old big kid):
Miss Aiden has loved Disco since she first locked eyes on him. But lately, its getting kind of hard to see him. Tea parties aren’t so hip in the 10 to 12 crowd. She’s rethinking her goals and friendships. She loves Disco. But she understands its time to grow up and hopes he does, too. 

Little Boy (4 year old boy):
Smiley, friendly, and full of energy, our new little boy is ready to face the world. He likes dinosaurs and cars. But he’s just seen someone on roller skates and wants to know what that’s all about. 

Dad (early 30s):
Bored dad in a boring park doing work on his phone. Scrolling forever and ever, he can’t really see beyond his kid and his phone.

Location
 The plan is to shoot on weekdays for 2 days in this location. As it’s a weekday in late Autumn, I am hoping crowding isn’t a large problem. It does have school groups that do go through, but they tend to move quickly and not in the areas I have chosen. 

As my cast and crew total around 5 at the largest most of the time, I think we should be fairly manurable. There are no changes I need to make to the space. The areas I’m hoping to use I’ve chosen for natural light as well as good condition of the footpaths as Liam will be roller blading. 

I do not need any set dressings. It has all its natural glory even in the autumn and enough benches. 

Lighting
 There is a lot of natural light in this location. I’m staying out of the shadier bits. 

Sound
 I did really want to use the medicine gardens but there was construction nearby, so I ruled that out and have found a more interior to the park location. There are lots of birds but seemed rather quiet otherwise. 

 Lots of toilets and other facilities are available. We can lunch at the café easily enough. Telephone signal is not a large issue. We are going to arrive dressed hopefully having met up at my house before had. We have lots of rolling toolboxes and such that make little disruption but make for a lot of table space that moves well. We will have to focus on keeping Liam warm in between shots. 
 
 As it THE gardens, most know how to find their way there, but I will add detailed movement orders surrounding which gates and paths to use to get you were you are going. 

Other
 There is paid parking on the perimeter of the park and we are car pooling to keep that cost lower and its covered by me

OH&S Issues!
 Liam is my largest concern as anything above a walk is a stunt. So roller blading is a big deal. He will be wearing lots of PPE as well as being asked to take the skates off or sit when he’s not filming. 

Location
 We will be doing a half day in my house for the kids room. Aiden will feel most comfortable here. 

There is a lot more in the way of set dressing to consider. But as its my house, I could literally set it up the night before. 

Lighting
 The light in my house is pretty well controlled as most of the lights are WIFI enabled and colour can be altered as well as position. Aiden’s room has blackout blinds on a zip track but they move fully up if we need more natural lighting. 

Sound
 We do live near a larger street, but with the equipment we are using paired with Aiden’s room being on the far end of the house, we are hoping to mitigate some of that.  

Support
My house has crazy wifi access and all my stuff in it. We should be able to keep everyone quite comfortable. 

Other
 My house is further away from the second location than I’d like for it to be. So we need to remember to put EVERYTHING in the car before we leave. All the extra batteries and memory cards. ALL THE STUFF
