How many members are there in your family?

There are 5 members in my family, which is my mother, father brother, and my younger sister. So we all make up 6 people in the family.

What kind of job do both of your parents have?

Both of my parents are teachers. My father is a teacher at a college and he teaches English and German, while my mother teaches children at a primary school.

Do you think there is a difference between an European family and an Indian family and why?

I think the difference between Indian families and European families is that Indian families tend to have way more members then the European family. I also think they have more of a closer contact with their children rather then not. With the European family it’s more of an independent lifestyle. The parents in the European family force the child to do things by themselves from small.

Follow up Question:

Does your parent keep you close or they force you to be independent?

They more force me to become independent since I was small because that’s how it is in the Nederland’s.

What kind of holidays did your parents celebrate when you were a child?

My parents celebrates sinterklass this is the biggest holiday we celebrate it is about a man that gives gifts to small children and make them happy. When this holiday occurs the whole family does come together and share presents with each other. And we also do have a big dinner with the whole family and eat a lot. This holiday is celebrated every year.

What would you like to do in the future?

I see myself to become a manager of a huge firm. But they give me all the freedom to choose whatever I wanted to study. They believed in whatever study I was going to take and they would be there every step of the way to support me.

Do you believe in friendships?

Yes I strongly believe in friendships.

Do you think it is good to have strong friendships and why?

Yes I think it is very important because that way you have people to go to when you have something on your mind or just to hang out and have fun.

How many best friends do you have?

I have 4 best friends, but besides that I have many other friends that I go out with and hang around and have fun.

What role does family play in future career choices?

They don’t play a big role in my future career choices I make my own choices and decisions. But wherever I head to they will always be there supporting me.

What are some kind of activities you do with your friends.

They are many activities I love to do like going on vacation to a different place I have never been to. Also I love to play paintball and Go-Karting it is a really fun activity.

How did you experience interviewing your classmate (behavior, thoughts, feelings)?

I felt relaxed while doing the interview. To be honest it was normal for me because I felt comfort when interviewing the interviewee because I know him now for six months. The interview went smoothly and there was no trouble.

What is similar and what is different between you and your interviewee?

Me and my interviewee believed in the same way about religion even though he does not believe in god he thinks like me for where does a person go after he/she died. We both believe in recreation. I find we both have the same amount of best friends and the activities he does I enjoy them too.

What did you learn from conducting an interview?

When conducting an interview I learnt that I do have sufficient eye contact. I speak really fast for my interview that he tells me to slow down. I also need to be more relaxed and take deep breaths while conducting the interview. I also learnt more in-depth details about open and closed questions.
