I learned that Christianity has some similar ideas as Judaism and is very similar.
I also learned that Judaism was followed before Christianity.
A third thing I learned is that Abraham was the first to believe that there is only one god.

A thought I had was how did people believe they were related to god? And also, How were they so sure they were related to god that they made a religion?
A question that I have is how did people see god or get in touch with them?

One thing that I learned is that the Dead Sea is drying up.
Another thing that learned is that if you added water from the Red Sea to the Dead Sea the water could turn red.
I also learned that if the water turns red it would have negative changes to the environment.
One thought I have is that the Dead Sea being red would better fit the name. Another thought I have is that there are a lot of people that are going to Israel to float in the Dead Sea.
A question I have is how does the Dead Sea keep drying up so much?

Three things that I learned are that King David’s own son tried to kill him. I also learned that the guy who was king before David tried to kill him. I also learned that King David sent a man to be killed because they had a beautiful wife. Two thoughts I had was it’s crazy that he tried to get a man killed so he could marry their wife. I also thought is was cool how his son was the king after him.
My question is how long was David the king of Israel?

I learned that Judaism believes in monotheism. I also learned that god ended them being enslaved in Egypt. It is a culture that is 3,000 years old.
I thought that it was cool how the Israelites made both of some of the major religions. I learned that Judaism was the first monotheistic religion.
One question I have is why did Judaism face so much adversity when it was first founded?

I learned that woman in Israel played an important role. I learned that Ruth the Moabite was one of the important woman she was the grandson of King David. Deborah the Judge stopped an invasive of Canaan. Queen Esther was an Israelite who married the King of Persia and became the Queen of Persia.
I thought that it was different than all the other civilizations that woman were rulers. I also thought that there were a lot of woman who were related to important people.
One question I have us why were so little people in a small ancient civilization shape billions of peoples beliefs.

I learned that in Judaism they have the "High Holidays". I also learned that Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish new year. A third thing I learned is that Rosh Hashanah is a day of fast where you cannot eat or drink.
I thought that it was cool how they have holidays back to back. I think it is really cool to learn about the past of religions that some of my friends follow.
One question I have is why are most of the holidays in fall and not spread out across the year?

I learned that Israel was at first two big groups. I learned that there was a fight for control of Israel in 930 BCE. I learned that the fight was caused because the northern side was made about getting taxed heavily and the south side supported it so a fight had started.
I think it is weird how most civilizations had a fight amongst themselves. I also think that it is cool how both sides were so evenly matched in the war.
One question I have is why were the taxes only heavily pushed toward one side of the country
