I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from TCU and I have a Master's Degree in Reading and English As A Second Language from Dallas Baptist University.

I also teach a few classes at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History during the school year and several classes during the summer. Teaching is so much fun!

At home, I have a wonderful, supportive husband. We have been married for 31 years. I am also a proud mother of a 26 year old son who is the light of our lives! Last October, we adopted our sweet daughter who is now 3 1/2 years old and is truly a joy!

*Practice writing letters and numbers legibly. 
*Practice with your child so he/she can identify all letters and their sounds. 
*Practice counting to/from 20 using 1 to 1 correspondence. 
*Practice high frequency words listed on the report card. 
*Help your child learns to tie his/her shoes. 
*Practice with your child so he/she knows his/her birthday by month and day. 
*Read to your child 20 minutes each day.
