In 2013, he received the Edward R. Morrow Award for a story that highlighted the inefficiencies of the state’s lightning detection alert systems. While Lucas Seiler focused on stories affecting the local region, several of his stories have also been featured on national news programs like NBC News, CNN, and MSNBC. Before joining NBC-2 News in 2013, Lucas Seiler spent two years with Wyoming’s Intermountain West Communications Company. As an anchor, reporter, and producer for NBC broadcasts, he earned Association of Broadcasters awards for news reporting and photography. Lucas Seiler previously gained industry experience as an intern with CBS Chicago Investigations, Fox Chicago News, and PBS WTTW.
