Structure
- First stanza is talking about the tree itself. Having said that spring is coming suggested that life is starting to bloom.
- Second stanza, author talks about his envy towards the tree. Tree is a metaphor of life and death so therefore, he is jealous of the youth and the youngers.
-Third stanza uses repetition. "Afresh, afresh, afresh." Sounded like a boring tone. This could mean he is bored and envied the new life while he grew old.
