I found it fascinating to learn about how we learn and what our brains are capable of when we give it the attention and purpose it deserves. Something that stood out to me were the myths about the different types of learning. The entirety of my education I was told that the way people learned was variable, be it auditory, or kinesthetic or visual , When in actuality we are using all channels of learning when ever we are learning something.

Taking what I've learned into my work has gone extremely well. Right after week two I was moved to a new team at my company, I had to learn a completely new set of skills to complete the new tasks I was given. Using technologies that I have yet to be exposed to. It was challenging but with the knowledge and tools I was exposed to in this class so far I was able learn the new skills while keeping in mind what my brain was doing while during the process.
