Ms. Dozoretz founded the charity after losing her eldest daughter, Susan, to bone cancer. She continues to serve as President, and with the help of the Board of Directors, she oversees every wish the organization fulfills. In addition to managing wish-fulfilling activities, she has guided Children's Wish Foundation International (CWFI) through several expansion initiatives. Under her leadership, the charity has fulfilled thousands of wishes for children in more than 50 countries, and has expanded to include gift packages with toys, games and educational materials to pediatric hospitals throughout the United States.
