Eireen celebrates Diwali with her family.

She does Diwali Pooja with her grandparents and family.

We dress up, decorate house with flowers, do prayers and cook prashad .

We really enjoy this festival a lot . this Diwali Pooja is very dear to Eireens heart and she has been helping with preparing for this festival since she was 1 year old.

Rakhi, also called Raksha Bandhan, is a special festival in Aadya’s family.

On this day, all the family members come together to celebrate.

Sisters tie a Rakhi (beautiful thread) on their brothers’ wrists.

It is a symbol of love, care, and protection.

Brothers give gifts and promise to always take care of their sisters.

After that, everyone eats sweets, laughs, and enjoys the day together.

In Aadya’s family, Rakhi is not just about tying a thread,

It is about celebrating love, togetherness, and family bonds.

We as a family make sure that we do the Diwali puja together.

It gives us a chance to spend more time together.

Ivaan loves to be a part of it and enjoys doing Aarti the most.

Ivaan along with his elder sister loves to decorate the house and make rangolis.

He notices every little detailing about his family, culture and makes the most of every moment.

He looks forward to festive time and keeps on asking about next occasion…

He Values family n his roots.

Every year on Ganesh Chaturthi, Shivaay paints an eco friendly Ganesha - that he calls his best friend. We decorate the temple with flowers and make modak for him.We pray for 10 days and on the last day he bids him a good bye by immersing the idol in his small bucket and later puts it in the plant with a promise to come again next year.

Janmashtami is one festival that Viansh enjoys a lot. Every year on Janmashtami he dress up as Kanha ji and his sister dress up as Radha. He also decorates our temple at home, helps to cook prashad and give jhula to Kanha ji.

Also as a family ritual we go to Vaishno Devi temple every year and we all enjoy the trip.

This gives us time to seek God’s blessings and spend time with family and friends.

• Fasting and self-discipline – many observe complete or partial fasts.

• Prayers and meditation – attending discourses, reading scriptures, and chanting.

• Ahimsa (non-violence) – practicing kindness in thoughts, words, and actions.

• Introspection – letting go of anger, ego, greed, and deceit.

• Forgiveness – on the last day, Samvatsari, we ask for forgiveness by saying “Micchami Dukkadam” to all, meaning “If I have hurt you knowingly or unknowingly, please forgive me.”

It is a beautiful reminder to purify the soul and live with compassion and humility.
