         <description><![CDATA[<div>This is the newer term for "mental retardation" or a disability in intelligence and adaptive behavior. <br><br>According to AAIDD or the American Association of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, <br> Intellectual disability is a disability characterized by significant limitations both in intellectual functioning and in adaptive behavior as expressed in conceptual, social, and practical adaptive skills. This disability originates before the age of 18. <br><br>There are  4 classifications of ID depending on IQ. <br><strong>MILD </strong>(IQ 50-70)<br><strong>MODERATE </strong>(IQ 50-70)<br><strong>SEVERE</strong> (IQ  20-25)<br><strong>PROFOUND</strong> (BELOW 20)<br><br></div>]]></description>
