         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Chain of Custody is similar to all other evidence. Its a list of people who are in charge of all the evidence.&nbsp;<br>Data Collection- Collect information from a device or source used for investigation<br>Examination- They will proceed to go more in depth with information given from the data collected&nbsp;<br>Analysis- The exterminators with will put together what they gathered from the examination and come up with a detailed structure with the data collected.<br>Reporting- With the analysis they gathered, we understand that the "prosecutes" will take that information and turn it in to the court of law.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Julissa Brisman was meeting her client Philip Markoff who later on robbed, gagged, and shot through her chest, hip, and her lungs. The crime happened April 14, 2009 at a hotel room in Boston. The client Philip Markoff had commited a different crime at another crime three day prior to the murder of Julissa. Markoff's motive to the crime was to pay off his gambling debts.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Cell towers didn't help during this case due to Markoff used different disposable phones and also a throw away email address. Investigators were giving a IP address but couldn't match it to a specific person in the apartment building. Digital evidence that was found on laptop was the conversation between Markoff and Julissa.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Other evidence that was found during this case was a semiautomatic that also matched the bullets that Julissa was shot with. Finger prints on the plastics ties used as restraints to hold her down and duct tape that was also used at the crime scene. Physical evidence that was found on crime scene was a health care book that have the inside taken out with the bullet that Julissa was shot with inside of the book. The duct tape that was used to tape the book on the back side of the dryer had fingerprint on it. </div>]]></description>

Markoff was charged with armed robbery and murdering of Julissa , Markoff had also been charged with two other armed robberies after the killing of Julissa he went three days later and did a robbery at another hotel room. Markoff only served a year and one day in jail with being on suicide watch. August 15, 2010 Markoff was found on the jail cell floor after committing suicide.</div>]]></description>

I think we should still us digital forensics to this day due to how helpful its been to find criminals. Digital forensics find direct evidence connected to a crime. We would have many criminals going around this world still committing crimes and not getting taught.</div>]]></description>
