The graphic novel does a more better job of showing Victor’s death and shows thats he is weak and is ready to die. We see in his face and body that he is going to die. Victor says “Alas! The strength I relied on is gone”( Shelley). The graphic novel changes the text because we get a descriptive picture of Victor dying we know more on whats happening. The book does a good job on describing Victors hatred on the creation he created. Victor is a tragic hero because he tried to stop his creation from killing more people but we see him dying failing to do so. Victor says “Alas! The strength I relied on is gone”( Shelley).

A bit later we discover that Victor’s creation had killed his wife. He was preparing for the monster to come but he wasn't sure what the monster will do. In the graphic novel we see the terrier on Victor’s face when he hear her screaming. The graphic novel depicts this scene more better since we see the emotion that Victor has on his face while in the original text we hear him say “Everywhere I turn I see the same figure-her bloodless arms and relaxed form flung by the murderer on its bridal bier”(Shelley). What the original text does better is describing Elizabeth’s dead body on the bed. In the graphic novel we only get a picture.

In this part we see more similarities. We see/ read that the monster is killing himself by setting himself on fire. The novel leaves us with the death of Victors creation. The graphic novel shows more on how the monster kills himself while as the original text it is described better so we can get an image on how he kills himself. “But Soon, He cried with sad and solemn enthusiasm, I shall die, and what I know feel be no longer felt. Soon these burning miseries will be extinct”(Shelley).
