In the video above is a list 10 Thrillers that are some of the best. 
While I don't agree that all of these are the "best", some do have a high place on my favorites list. 
"The Gift" is a good thriller for those that don't want the "horror" aspect and instead is a psychological phenomenon.
"Hush" is in my top 5 favorite thrillers that I've seen so far (and I've seen a decent amount). It is a horror in the sense that it could very easily happen in real life and is something that will stick with you for a long time.

That being said a lot goes into these films to help make them a success. (Or make it flop). 
Sound effects and music is essential to making any film but especially with thrillers. Half of the movies are filled with  suspenseful music to keep the audience on the edge of their seat. Not only that, but the actors have to play their roles well and the writers have to script the villain perfectly, otherwise capturing the audience can be incredibly difficult. One certain way which I've noticed that directors use to keep the audience captured is keeping the identity of the villain or demon unknown for a decent amount of time in the story line. ]]> 2023-04-04 22:06:33 UTC https://padlet.com/srschoen19/ot3v3isqb2vvx11z/wish/2544197227 srschoen19 https://padlet.com/srschoen19/ot3v3isqb2vvx11z/wish/2544212070 As mentioned before there are several variations of thrillers and some get more attention then others.

A lot of people tend to not like the adrenaline and suspense that thrillers contain. Or sometimes they aren't well made films and overall just suck, which is no fault to the audience.

To some however, these films give you an addictive rush that you just can't resist!
