I agree with Solon and believe for the time period he is wise because things could take a turn for the worst at any given moment no matter how happy you are.

I agree with Austin because the place he ruled was doing good at the time but at any moment it could go down hill in the future. Croesus could be happy at the moment but what about the future?

I think Wills question is good and I think that the way to have happiness doesn't have to be about what he has accomplished or certain items there are different ways to be happy

I think hes half right because you won´t truly know how happy you are until you know how you have died, but I also believe that if your happy right now and end up dying a bad death it does´t take away the fact you were happy before that and the good memories.

I agree with the fact that Solon said you cannot call someone's life happy until it is finished because even if your are happy in the moment, it doesn't mean you will stay happy

I agree that if you are truly the "happiest person" then you would not go seek somebody else's opinion to confirm you are the happiest. You are not actually the happiest if you need other people to recognize it.

I do feel to an extent that everybody has their own definition of happiness, but if you are trying to portray happiness upon other people instead of finding happiness within yourself, you aren't truly happy.

He is seeking an ego boost to actually make him feel happy. And when Solon didn't mention him it made him upset. I feel like that and the circumstances for him to feel happy could not be a happy thing because people probably died in order for him to "be happy".

I think there is a honor or people dying in battle people are very looked up to if they receive a purple heart they have had made a huge sacrifice for us and received a huge accomplishment

I think that the way you die does not impact your happiness. You are dead regardless of how it happened. Your happiness is based off of what you do while you are living and the memories you have made.

I believe that Solon can not determine how happy others are or how happy they were in their lifetime, the only person that can determine your happiness is you.

I agree with Kolton that travelling helps you gain more life experience and see the world in a wider view. Solon likely is a wise man because he has witnessed much more of the world compared to most other people in that time.
