I can explain the factors that affect Eurasia’s climate. Class agenda 9/28/16

Some factors that affect the climate are latitude, how close it is to water, and elevation to name a few. Latitude is the distance from the equator. The Black Sea is closer to the equator so it will get more sunlight than the top of Eurasia which is near the North Pole. With water, if the country is close to the water it will affect the climate of the country greatly. Countries that are near the black sea will be warm because of the winds that blow off from it. Lastly with elevation, if the countries have a lot of mountains it will be colder the higher you go. Take Mt. Everest for example, since its so high it is freezing cold at the top.

Russian policies have negatively impacted the environment in many ways. Since they thought the pursuit of economic growth is more important than protecting the environment. They ruined a lot of environments such as the Black Sea, the Aral Sea, the Caspian Sea etc. They have also allowed incidents like Chernobyl, to happen which to release so much radiation into Eurasia and Europe.

In Eurasia people, more people live on the southwest side of the maps. They have milder climates, more urban areas, more jobs on that side. Nobody really lives at the top or east side of the map. It's very cold there and people live very far from each other.

In Russia, the birth rates are really low and the death rates are really high. The life expectancy for men is low compared to women because of alcohol. Women aren't really encouraged to have children because they can't support themselves. The CBR and CDR changed dramatically in the same year the USSR fell.

The government really restrained the people and probably used to money to increase the military or create factories to gain money. They cared for more increasing the economy than the people.
