A burden is a morally and ethically wrong action made. An example of this in the time is The U.S. incarcerating innocent Filipinos. 

2. Kipling views the people being imperialized were very uncooperative because he describes them as half devil, half human. He believed that since they were not cooperating, they were uneducated and would not understand what was happening, even if we were helping.

3. Kipling's views on imperialism were that anyone weaker than America should just accept that we are taking over their land. Since we were a higher power then them, they should be happy they are helping us grow as a nation and an empire. 

4.
