What makes this space distinct from others?

The campus is a safe space because of its security and the community of like minded students with the common goal of furthering their education. On top of that it was day time and I have taken this walk to class many times before. I passed many familiar faces on the way which put me even more at ease.

Who has access to this space, and who does not? Why might that be? What kind of privilege, identity or other kind of markers does one need to access this space?

All students and faculty have access too this space because they are all a part of the St. Johns community. The community of the campus if fairly diverse in financial and social status but the majority of the students are young.

I'm very familiar with this space due to the fact I've been studying on this campus for over a semester. Now I could practically walk around with my eyes closed and envision where every tree and every building would be.
