I've just woken up in my hotel at 8:32 A.M. Ready to ski at Mount Paektu! For breakfast I had Neng Kook. When I walk outside I hear buses transporting people to work. On my car ride to 
Paektu mountain I see the vast forests, I googled this and found out that it is 70 percent forest which is interesting. At the bottom of Mount Paektu I had to hike 2 and 1/2 miles to get to the ski resort. The quiet trill of the breeze and the forest critters was so peaceful. At the resort I had to pay an entrance fee of 100 North Korean Wons. Now I am off to hang out at the Munsu Water Park! I took a cab there and he was kind, granted I only knew a little Korean. Once I got there I payed 300 wons(33 U.S. cents) for a ticket of admission. When I got inside it was so big, so I just went on the ride similar to the Corkscrew from Roaring Springs. Also I swam in the pool, the lavish pearl embroidered pool was filled with bright faces and hearty smiles. I had been in there for 3 hours, this was a very fun place to go to I really loved it but it really just felt like it  was Roaring Springs. I took a cab and I am going to get food at the zoo. Outside of the Zoo there are armed guards and the entrance is a giant tiger's head.(not a real one of course) Inside there are hundreds of thousands of animals cages but some of them have people that are in rags, such as People in the tiger's den. There are so many weird and cool animals like llamas and hippos. There was also a "prized" exhibit with a parrot that says in English and I quote "Long live the great leader, comrade Kim Il Sung." The Three Revolution Exhibit is as the name implies, which is the three revolutions of Kim Il Sung. These three revolutions are ideological, technical, and cultural. The museum was based off of the Juche Idea, Which is the state Ideology of North Korea. Once I got there the outside was a planetarium with Saturn on top which doesn't seem very relevant in my opinion. The tour guide showed us the six areas that resembled North Korea's Growth such as Electronics, Heavy Industry, Agriculture, Class Education, Technology, and Vehicle advancements which was really just a display of military vehicles, however there were a few North Korean Cars. Agriculture and Heavy Industry are mainly Crops like rice and soy and farming. I Really liked this museum because it really taught me a lot about North Korea.
