Hello Friends!

Welcome to October! This is a busy time for me with midterm practicals and getting my students through a stressful time for them. I hope you are all doing well. New teachers to our CoP, please reach out to me with any questions you are having during the onboard ing process. Returning teachers, get those PL requests in! Don't forget to check your balance for funds and follow all directions for requests. I am here to help when you need it.

Welcome Fall! I hope everyone is progressing well with onboarding and/or finding amazing PL opportunities. Keep an eye out for an email about our fall CoP meeting. I hope many of you will be able to attend!

I love to discuss current science news, fun facts and other interesting things with my students. It can help satisfy the "why do I even have to take this class?" questions. I found this fun Perot Museum Website that has fun science facts I thought I'd share.

My friend was telling me they have their SOL scheduled for May 21...And I realized she's on the downward slide to the end of the school year already! Now to survive the In like a (super cold) lion and look toward the out like a lamb.

If you are done for the year CONGRATULATIONS! You did ti! You survived! If you have a few more weeks, hang in there...it's coming! As you tie up your post PL surveys and such, please let me know if there is anything I can assist you with. I am so proud of all of you amazing teachers! You're changing the world, one lesson at a time and you're amazing.

June 30th will be my last day with CHOICE. Due to big changes in our family and my work life, I have had to step down from my facilitator position. I just wanted to say what a pleasure it's been working with all of you. I hope that the next school year and all that follow are amazing! I wish you all well.
